Helper setup checklist
CanU only works when your helper logs consistently. Most families spend about 10 minutes once to set this up—the checklist below is what we walk through on onboarding calls.
- 1
Invite your helper
Add them in Family & Team with their phone number and preferred language. They'll get a WhatsApp link to join.
Open Family & Team → - 2
Send the Quick Start guide
Share the one-page guide with your helper (or local sibling) before the first log. It's in their language and takes 2 minutes to read.
Open Quick Start guide → - 3
Do the first log together
Pick a natural moment—after lunch, after evening meds, or before leaving for the day. Walk through one log so they know it's fast.
Open care log → - 4
Book an optional onboarding call
We'll join a 15-minute call to answer helper questions and complete the first log live. Most families only need this once.
Contact us to book → - 5
Complete 3 logs in the first week
Weekly summaries and alerts need a few days of data. Nudge once if they forget—the habit usually sticks after day three.

What success looks like
- Helper completes at least 3 logs in the first week
- Your first weekly summary has real data—not gaps
- Family abroad stops chasing updates in the group chat
